Obama Calls For Unconditional Release Of IDF Soldier

hadPresident Barack Obama is calling for the unconditional and immediate release of an Israeli soldier who was apparently captured in a clash with Hamas terrorists.

Obama says it will be difficult to put back together the cease-fire between Hamas and Israel that collapsed Friday. But he says the U.S. will continue working toward a cease-fire. He says Israel committed to the cease-fire, but the cease-fire was violated.

Obama says it’s heartbreaking to see what’s happening in Gaza. He says he wants to see everything possible done to ensure Palestinian civilians aren’t killed.

Obama says Israel must be able to defend itself, but that irresponsible actions by Hamas have put civilians in danger. The truce was brokered by the U.S. and U.N. but collapsed less than two hours after it began.

  1. He is doing nothing but repeat the same things he has said before. Nothing has changed, nothing will change, and no matter what happens the US will do nothing!

  2. Very simple. Obama should declare. We will simply sit back and do nothing until the soldier is returned. We will not hold back the Israelis until the leadership is toppled. This poor soldier will be back in no time…..

  3. FORGET the ceasefire. Come on already

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

  4. ‘Irresponsible actions by hamas’ how about murderous evil actions? Even when he says something without blaming Israel he is still an Arab terrorist sympathizer.

  5. What about the innocent Israeli lives stop caring so much about Palestinians civilians, after all their own people take them captive to be killed.
