Secret Service Director Julia Pierson has resigned, in the wake of several presidential security failures.
Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson announcement the resignation Wednesday afternoon.
“Today Julia Pierson, the Director of the United States Secret Service, offered her resignation, and I accepted it. I salute her 30 years of distinguished service to the Secret Service and the Nation,” he said.

Why aren’t the Democrats following their playbook and circling the wagons for her, like they did for Lois Lerner, Keith Alexander, Hillary Clinton, Eric Witholder, Susan Rice, etc…? There’s no way to blame those Evil white Republicans on this one? Interesting. Now who’s having the “war on Women”?
