Dems Rush To Save Suddenly Vulnerable Incumbents

senDesperate Democrats are scrambling to save vulnerable House incumbents, even in states where President Barack Obama cruised to double-digit wins in the past two presidential elections.

Six days to the election, the once friendly terrain of New York, California, Obama’s native state of Hawaii and his adopted state of Illinois all are posing stiff challenges to Democrats.

Republicans and Democrats agree that the GOP will hold its House majority. The question is whether Republicans can gain enough seats to rival their post-World War II high-water mark of 246.

The current breakdown is 233-199 with three vacancies.

In a last-minute move, national Democrats are coordinating with local campaigns in Nevada, Hawaii and California in hopes of holding seats.

  1. Really last poll taken by Harvard of students 19-29. They are leaning republican by 51 per cent. Obama. Killed it for them. And most no it. Do you see anyone asking for his help.
