And dear mdlevine, I fail to see any ”hostilties” in our back-and-forth conversation. I am disappointed that (apparently) a disagreement constitutes as being ”hostile” in your evaluation. (Certainly far less ”hostile” than many legitimate disagreements between poiskim.) I would hope you would reconsider that point.

for issues that do not directly impact you, you do not have to have the inside knowledge of the decisions made by others and which of the Gedolim they followed. I am assuming that they followed Daas Torah – if not, it is on them. If you do not have children in this school, you do not need to be privy to the inner conversations as you think you do. Additionally, just because this becomes a news story here on YW or in any other outlet, does not mean that joseph needs to be filled in on all the details.

You are wrong. A Jew must lead his life by Daas Torah. And that is even in the most seemingly insignificant decisions a Yid makes. Certainly in such a monumentous undertaking as expelling Yiddishe Kinder from Yeshiva, Daas Torah MUST be consulted and followed. Furthermore, a Jew has a RIGHT to ask someone what Rov/Daas Torah approved of such action and upon what basis.

BTW, as an aside, this mishugana is not part of nk. He doesn’t even CLAIM to be part of nk, unlike those misguided souls in Monsey who (unauthorizedly) use the holy name of the nk of Hagoen Rav Amrom Blau in vain.

hate to burst your bubble, but, no one needs to supply the name of the Rov to you, me or anyone else. this was/is their decision and if they did or did not consult Daas Torah is on their heads.

regarding “rebelling from Yiddishkeit.” if you do not educate them about the evil ways of their father (basically re-progamming them) you will lose them completely to becoming “peace loving” muslims.
