Dallas Community Sends More Than 2000 Shabbos Meals To Houston’s Harvey Victims [VIDEOS & PHOTOS]

(VIDEOS AND PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

The Jewish community in Dallas, Texas united in amazing fashion to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

A full truck loaded with cleaning supplies and food was collected and sent to Houston.

More than 2000 Shabbos meals were served, catered by Simcha Kosher caterers. Texas Kosher BBQ, also of Dallas, is bringing their mobile food truck to Houston and plans to serve more than 1000 hot meals a day for at least the next two weeks.

The community was organized by Dallas Kosher supervision, the Jewish Federation of Dallas and the Dallas Area Torah Association.

Organizers would like the public to know that they do not need more food or supplies at this time. What they do need is FUNDING for the efforts already underway.

You can DONATE by clicking HERE, The Dallas Area Torah Association, Agudath Israel of America, or the Jewish Federation.
