Fire Tears Through Monsey Home [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

A fire ripped through a Monsey home on Thursday afternoon.

The Monsey Fire Department began receiving multiple phone calls at around 4:35PM reporting a home engulfed in flames. Fire fighters arrived at the residence located at 92 Blauvelt Road near Maple Avenue to find heavy flames blowing out of the windows.

Monsey Hatzolah was dispatched to the scene, but Bichasdei Hashem, there was no one home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

By 5:25PM the fire was under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation; and a Ramapo Fire Inspector was dispatched to the scene.
