I think its a great idea for those who want to save gas and for those that can’t drive because they are too young or for whatever reason
i think its a great mitzvah for those that offer to drive

i love it.I look for passengers everytime i go anywhere either the country or lakewood and usually get ppl and i charge and ppl dnt mind to pay and that way im happy that my gaz is paid and they are happy that they are going by car

Great idea, YWN; yasher koach!

I suggest that all who use any of the New Jersey New York City bridges or tunnels should contact the EZ-pass people and sign-up for the car pool plan. It only takes a minute, and once you’re signed up, you’re good to go. As long as you have at least 3 (three) people in your vehicle and use your EZ-pass for payment at a Cash window (so the attendant can ascertain that there are at lesast 3 people in the vehicle), you’ll be charged only $2 (rather than the standard $8 toll), for a savings of $6.

Offering another (or two people) a ride can actually save the driver $6 in tolls when crossing from New Jersey into New York City!
