Thank you, Commenter No. 3, for confusing the Obamahaters with facts.

So, Commenter No. 4, you think Obamacare is a good idea for some people? And, with regard to your recommendation of self-insurance, what exactly are you credentials as an actuary?

To #5:

I don't know about "a Canadian Governor" going to the U.S.
But I know that Sarah and the whole Palin family left Alaska and went to Canada for their medical care.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/sarah-palin/7409555/Sarah-Palins-family-sought-health-care-in-Canada.html

And there are busloads of people leaving Vermont and other New England states weekly to fill their prescriptions in Canada. Much cheaper there.

BTW: There a "Governor General" in Canada and "Lieutenant Governors" in the Provinces and Territories. A story about "a Canadian Governor" seems bogus.

Charlie as a socialist you would. But if it's so great why is it that American hospitals are full of Israelis Europeans and Canadians getting health care here
Why is it that several years ago a Canadian governor came to nyc for cancer treatments. He could not get in Canada

If someone is jobless and assetless they easily qualify for Medicaid regardless of Obamacare. The down and out aren't really affected, though they may have a harder time finding a doctor to accept Medicaid under the Obamacare "reforms."

Ones who are able to find work but not for a major employer are winners since they will find individual insurance more affordable, especially if they are seriously ill already. If they are healthy, they probably would be better off paying bills out of pockets rather than paying more in premiums.

"fewer doctors and what do you get? European healthcare."

Amazing how the Obamahaters don't bother checking facts before posting nonsense.

Here are actual numbers of doctors per 10,000 population in various countries. (Source: Kaiser Foundation.)

Austria	48.6
Norway	41.6
Switzerland	40.8
Spain	39.6
Sweden	38.7
Australia	38.5
Italy	38.0
Belgium	37.8
Czech Republic	37.1
Germany	36.9
Iceland	34.6
Denmark	34.2
France	33.8
Israel	31.1
Finland	29.1
Luxembourg	27.8
United Kingdom	27.7
New Zealand	27.4
United States of America	24.2

Every one of those countries meets or exceeds the US in terms of objective health outcomes, while spending less money. So I would certainly take European healthcare. Fortunately, the US is building new medical schools at an unprecedented rate.

Sorry, but the 7 out of 10 California doctors statistic is pure nonsense:

And, BTW, European Helathcare would be VERY exciting for the many yidden who fit the description in the above article and are THRILLED (as I am!) to now have coverage.

Just wait for them to try to keep their doctors as more and more MD's are dropping out of Obamacare. Nearly 7 in 10 doctors in California have opted out of the program. So add millions to the healthcare roll and fewer doctors and what do you get? European healthcare. Wow! So exciting.
