#1 The yeshivishe world does care because much of their funding comes from the state as evidence by comment #3.
#3 If they cut the budget they will cut food stamps etc.

When you cut the budget because of the slow economic times, you should also ad more money to the Food-Stamps, food-banks and Soup-Kitchen’s Programs.

What a mentsch! If we only had half the man as our governor in Maryland we mght actually be able to make something out of our slaries. Our heat and property taxes have gone up. They are a digrace. Good for you New Yorkers!! Someone who seems to be rolling his sleeves.
