#7 a then ally? The soviet Union was always rival to the US. Even while fighting the common eenemy of Nazi Germany. How can you compare the relationship between america and Israel vi the US -soviet pact?

Pollard has paid his dues.
Many convicted spies have done far worse yet sufferd much less.

Everytime they post that statement- you post your comment on Rosenberg. Why do you keep trying to make people think that you are against his release -when you already agreed with me that his conviction should be thrown out? Pollard is becoming America’s Dreyfuss.

Isn’t President Bush our friend?

I am so happy that John McCain lost the election. I hate phonies who pretend to be our “friends” and “stab us in the back” with:
Jonathan Pollard still suffering in a Federal Penitentiary,
pressuring Israel to “surrender” our Homeland to our worst enemies,
repeatedly refusing to obey the Congressional mandate to move the American embassy to Yerushalayim,
year after year, listing the Ehrlicha Yad L’Achim as a “terrorist” organization,
etc.

#4, A23. You are right. Fortunately, YWN removed my post, which originally was #4. While the article did say Obama may release Pollard about 60 days after his inauguration, after reading the rest of the site (as I did a quick search and posted without checking the entire site), I realized the site was garbage, for the most part.

You cannot use that as a source in any way; I’m sure that this guy has an article about how the Mossad conducted the 9/11 attacks together with Clinton and Bin-Laden.
Besides, presidents make the bulk of their pardons in the last months of their tenure to avoid political fallout, which for Obama could be as late as 2017.
