This article is a distortion of the facts. I am not here to defend the Ukrainian police but the story that happened is as follows. The guys were speeding 170 kmh in a 60 kmh zone. They were stopped by the police and chose to ignore them. The police then attempted to stop them a second time and drew their weapons. Again they very dangerously continued to flee in a very reckless manner. When they were finally stooped by a roadblock the police dragged the poor passenger out of the car and beat him up. The car was a British car and they hit the wrong guy. They thought he was the driver but actually the driver was on the right side. In the meantime the guys got their car back and paid a fine. In any other country they would be sitting in jail now. They had their visas cancelled to Ukraine and must leave the country within 10 Days!!!

Jacob insisted on being buried in Eretz Yisroel to prevent Mekomos Kedoshim outside Eretz Yisroel. The bones of the Shevatim were dug up and re-interred in Eretz Yisroel. It is time to do likewise with Rav Nachman.

The headline should probably be “Drunk Ukranian Cops Beat Uman Visitors”

As it is, it implies that the drunk cops got to Uman before the visitors, which is a different problem altogether!
