UPDATED: Near Drowing in Ulster County

(Thursday, August 6th, 2009)

SOL.gif(UPDATE BELOW) Greenfield Park, NY – Please be Mispallel for Shmuel ben Rochel Yonina, a 3-year-old child who was pulled out of a swimming pool in respiratory arrest.

The near drowning took place at approximately 5:30M in Greenfield Meadows on Tamarack Road in Ulster County, and Hatzolah Paramedics were rushed to the scene.

The child has been air-lifted by Medevac to Westchester County Trauma Center in critical, but stable condition.

Update 8:30PM EST: YWN has been informed that the child is Boruch Hashem in stable condition, and is alert and talking.

    I was in a swimming pool when the call came in , and ny friend, a great Hatzalah member (west side) got dressed in seconds….and was at the call with in 2 min !!!
    Hatzalah is a real life saver, and thanks to the Members that have the Merit to be part of this !!!
