NYS Extends Deadline For New Bottle Bill

Consumers were going to have to pay a nickel deposit on bottled water starting Saturday. But that date is being pushed back to November 8.

A spokesperson for the Department of Environmental Conservation says it’s being done to allow the supply chain to catch up to the requirement.
