I think this whole thing has been blown out of proportions.

I agree with #1. Your headline is misleading: this incident is an internal NYPD matter & nothing to do with Shomrim, who were responding to concerns from local residents.

The Black cops initially refused to show ID when asked by the NYPD!!! There is no racial bias at all. I am sick and tired of every “African American” screaming racism. After all we elected a “African American” for President, so we obviously don’t harbor anti-black sentiment.
After all these stories, I don’t think I can ever vote for another black person, as they take no responsibility and just claim bias.
This is sick and disgusting.

It seems that any “mistreatment” was done by the NYPD and not by the Shomrim. The shomrim called the Police because they were suspicious, that is NOT taking the law into their own hands, this seems like a headline that was written just to sensationalize and demonize the shomrim, the NYPD is to blame for any bias
