No, I was suggesting he call Rabbi Bomzer and ask where the Kosher locations that are under his supervision. BTW, what’s a half hour drive?

I took my kids to Albany a few years back during winter break. The supermarket with the kosher section was a good 30 minutes from the state capitol. It was great for my vacation but wouldn’t be practical if you were working at the capitol.

But here’s my question: why hasn’t the Agudah/OU/SATMAR rallied in Albany against same-gender marriage? Is it true that these groups have all sold out our community’s values for a few lousy dollars for their social-service agencies? Also, why do these groups honor politicians who support same-gender marriage? What kind of message does that send to our children? We HONOR these people?

What about Price Chopper in Colonie? I’ve been there many times.

And, yes, PC is what’s doing this country in! When things are based on PC instead of laws, its creates Sdom all over again.

Same for section 8. Many Landlords charge money on top of the section 8 and this is all ILLEGAL.

Regarding the plan to get tuition vouchers.

I thinks teach NYS is a great error. What will happen is that the Yeshivas will JUST raise the tuition, they know that there are vouchers. Then taxes will go up to fund the vouchers.

At the end of the day tuition won’t go down and taxes will go up to pay for the vouchers.

What do you have to say on this?

It’s interesting that you bring this up. My son was at the convention this week for yeshiva administrators in Albany. He mentioned to me that there are no kosher restaurants and they had to bring in a caterer from the non-kosher supermarket (outside of Albany) that has a kosher food section. I just looked it up on Shamash and there are in-fact no kosher restaurants in Albany. Are you suggesting that Mr. Greenfield call the Rabbi and ask the Rebbetzin to cook a meal for him every time he his in Albany?
