Sure crime is down. The FBI have no one left to set up. people are running from them. The biggest raise in crime today is amongst government officials.

Flatbush Bubby – read the article. It specifies four crimes: murder, forcible abduction, robbery, and aggravated assault. (“Forcible abduction” is a code for a crime which YWN evidently doesn’t feel should be mentioned directly).

Anti-semitic hate crimes usually are not violent – they usually consist of writing swastikas, etc. rather than murder or assault. The few that have involved murder have gotten a lot of coverage, but that doesn’t mean that they are more common. The FBI is talking about your common street crime. Same for terrorist cells. In fact, the FBI is doing a good job getting the terrorists _before_ they have a chance to commit any violence.

The numbers aren’t fudged – the FBI is passing up a chance to ask for more funding Don’t confuse the amount of news coverage with the amount of crime, and don’t confuse terrorism wit ordinary crime. Those jihad guys are a whole different kettle of fish.

Something is telling me that these numbers are fudged. There has been a dramatic increase in anti-semitic incidents and uncovering of terrorist cells. This doesn’t make sense….
