[PHOTO LINK BELOW] A person was shot and killed in the heart of Flatbush late Monday night.
The scene of the shooting was on Avenue J between East 12th & East 13th Streets just after midnight Tuesday morning (Monday night).
Thanks to the fast response by officers of the NYPD’s 70 Precinct, the perpetrator was arrested just moments after the crime was committed.
Paramedics from Flatbush Hatzolah treated the victim, and transported him on board an East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance to Kings County Trauma Unit. Doctors pronounced him dead shortly after their arrival.
Detectives were investigating the shooting.
