1:53PM EST: Overpass junction from Route 17 to the NY State Thruway (Exit 15); MVA involving a tractor trailer that has went off the roadway and is now on fire. Rockland County HAZMAT Team has been notified & is responding. EMS requested on a rush for the driver in traumatic arrest.
UPDATE 2:05PM EST: The tractor trailer has apparently driven off the overpass and onto the roadway below. The FD is requesting mutual aid assistance from multiple NJ towns for assistance. Large quantity of diesel fuel is leaking as well.
