Taking YW’s advice, I phoned the Mayor. Well screened, the Mayor simply will not come to the phone. The call, at my request, was then transferred to the Mayor’s head Press Secretary. After mamash, a 20 minute phone conversation, I was told at length that this will be investigated to the “full length.” Per her, the JDL has inquired as well. An AK-47???? Why is their not a massive manhunt being performed???

You are correct in what you say that NMB has their own police, however, if it is a major crime like this, you would have the MD police respond as well. They would have their own reports on it. As the woman on the phone said herself “if that was the case and no incident report was filed, that would make someone in huge trouble”

The house is in North Miami Beach (NMB). NMB has it’s own police dept (www.nmbpd.org) The county (Miami-Dade Police) Is the sheriff’s office. A 911 call would have elicited a response from NMB police, so it’s possible that the county did in fact not have a record. it’s possible that all Dade county police units share the Miami Dade sheriff’s lab, hence the appearance of M-D investigators in the TV Clip.

Nobody says the story would have been less horryifying had anybody else been hurt. Why do you always jump to that conclusion?
But as YOU yourself said very well,,. there is a
great amount of relief that BH after all the tragedies which happened in our community lately, lives here were spared, THATS ALL!

Woz – If you watch the video closely you will noticed that the windows are also riddled with bullets. Even in the picture above you can see one or two clearly (if you know what a bullet hole looks like). It appears to me that you are expecting to see shattered glass like in Hollywood movies. In real live it isn’t always like that. I’m not why, but it seems that you are trying to deny the facts. If the above is true, this is a very serious offense on the police department.
