New Mexico Attorney General Gary King’s office today issued a Scam Alert for what appears to be another of the so-called Nigerian Scams that have consistently plagued email in-boxes in New Mexico and the world. This newly reported scam entitled, “Save The Jews,” blatantly claims Jews in Nigeria and the West African region are being killed and asks for monetary donations to fight a resurgence of anti-Semitism.
Potential donors are asked to contact an email address that includes the words, “help the Jews,” and is clearly a scam. The AG’s office advises anyone who receives this email to immediately delete it.
Susan Seligman, New Mexico Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League, refers to the email as, “…abhorrent scam to bilk money from individuals under the guise of anti-Semitism.”
there must be a group based out of nigeria scamming the american sheeple.
there have also been several instances on ebay of ppl being scammed by ppl living in nigeria.
