  3. Joseph says:

I too would like to wish all my fans (even the not-so-big fans) ah Gutten Yom Tov.

    And keep those responses coming!

  4. Aishes Chayil says:

    I ditto Joseph’s post! lol….
Gut Yom tov all and enjoy the cheescakes!

  5. GrumpyOldMan says:

Time for some pre Yom Tove fun… Why not start some controversy in a Gut Yom Tov post?

Did anyone notice that the Sefer Torah in center was Blue & White, and YW Editor used a Blue Font? Clearly making an association between the giving of the Torah and modern Zionism.

Also notice how far left leaning the seforim on the right seem to be! It is shocking.

Are we going to let “these people” take our holiday and subvert it for their nefarious ideology? I say NO!

Also, see how the editor mentions “traveling … with family and friends”. If many people are traveling together – this sounds like a reference to a PARADE. Is this not a subliminal message to take sides in the Lubavitcher Lag Bomer parade debate, advocating for a Shavuous parade?

Please YW Editor – deliver the news, and keep your left wing comments and fringe editorializing out of these seemingly innocent looking posts ;)

    Good Yom Yov to All!
    GOM

Royal Aron Hakodesh filled with holy sefrai torah, where is it?
    Chag Sameach,, Gut Yom Tov.

  7. Proud KAJ-WH TIDE Guy says:

    GUT YOM TOV

  8. shazam says:

    bklynmom:

Um, using my superb powers of deduction, I would guess it is a Shul by the name of Ohr Shalom. (:-)

  9. Velvil says:

Do you think that shul has an extra sefer torah? You think they would lend out a few?

  10. velicher choosid says:

    Ahhh Grump:
What a pleasure to hear from you again. So now that Y”T is over, care to share how many POUNDS of cheescake you consumed?

  11. telegrok says:

gotta give props and a shout-out to the Young Israel in Silver Springs, MD, which had on the first day of yom tov the following minyanim: a post-tikkun nusach ashkenaz; a post-tikkun “edut ha’mizrach;” nusach ashkenaz hashkomo; nusach sephard hashkomo; two other nusach ashkenaz minyanim (8:00 and 8:45); and a seond edut ha’hamizrach minyan. in one building, seven minyanim for three different nusachs – a glorious yom tov

  12. gemorakop says:

telegrok – Isn’t a “post-tikkun” and Hashkoma minyan the same thing? Help me out here.

  13. shazam says:

The Boca Raton Synagogue (Florida), has at least that many EVERY Shabbos.

And it’s Silver Spring, not Silver Springs.

  14. telegrok says:

gemmorakop – by hashkomo I meant the 7:00 am minyanim

shazam – if that is the case, then a shout-out and props to the Boca shul, as well -
