If a cop in the notorious LA Police Department says he is Jewish, I believe him. What difference does it make what his name is? I personally know einam yehudim whose names are Finkelstein, Schwartz, etc. When I asked Finkelstein who is Irish how she got her name, she said she has been married to a Jew for a while. When i asked her why she kept her name after her divorce, she said a name like Finkelstein opens doors. (This happened in NYC).
