During the riots over there last summer her local police station (around the corner) was firebombed. My daughter baked dozens of cookies & presented them beautifully on platters & her husband & kids went to deliver them. A tangible Hakoros HaTov goes a long way to make our public servants know they are appreciated & the officers were very happy to have some home-made goodies when they wearily returned to base after battling hoards of thugs & neo-Nazis.
