try that in the U.S. or any other country and the army would have their pants sued off.

there is no justification for breaking the deal and the higher up politicos should remove the “personnel” officer from her post and adhere to the agreements.

this is a repeat of the treatment of olim in the 1950′s when observant people were sent to MAPAM kibbutzim etc. It was unforgivable then and this is unacceptable now.

The army made a commitment which they are now reneging on. What does everything that’s been going on lately have to do with this? Because of the actions of a few hotheads, the army can go back on agreements?

Sorry, but that is unacceptable. You’re right. Moshiach hasn’t come yet and we live in a medinah that does not respect halachah, but a word is still a word.

The actions of the chareidi hot heads who have taken to attacking their opponents head on over the recent past has definitely contributed to the situation.
Yes, many chilonim are anti-chareid, but the chaeidi have to realize that they are still the minority.

The chareidim must also realize that Moshiach has as yet NOT arrived even though the medina exists and are still in golus and should behave accordingly. [Golus means that you live in someone else's place and not your own.]

By spitting, both literally and figuratively, in the faces of their perceived opponents the chareidim have brought trouble upon themselves. Cooperation between the chilonim and charedim had been getting better, but now it’s been shattered.
