Bichasdei Hashem, doctors at Shaare Zedek Medical Center have released Maran HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita. The Posek Hador has returned home and is resting comfortably.
R’ Shlomo Kook, a spokesperson for the home of Rav Elyashiv tells YWN, that prior to beig discharge from the hospital, Rav Elyashiv thanked the doctors and staff at the hospital who treated him. On the way home, Rav Elyashiv stopped at the Kosel for a few minutes to Daven, and upon returning home, served as the Sandek at a Bris.
Rav Elyashiv was rushed to the hospital on motzei Shabbos at 2:00am after complaining of difficult breathing. He was diagnosed with fluid in his lungs.
The rav remains under medical care and observation at him home on Rechov Chanan.
The tzibur is requested to continue davening for Yosef Sholom ben Chaya Musha b’soch shar cholei yisrael.
