What else should they do? They can hardly go about with Israeli passports, can they? So what does anyone expect them to do? I understand why the British would rather they used Canadian passports and the Canadians would rather they used New Zealand, and the Kiwis would rather they used Belgian, etc., but the bottom line is that they need to use foreign passports, and that need gives them all the justification in the world. Their work is too vital to be hindered out of excessive courtesy towards the feelings of other countries, and those countries ought to understand this, if they weren’t blinded by antisemitism.
