Police are not saying much but the arrest of two Arab males for “death to Arabs” graffiti is leading many to believe that the so-called ‘price tag’ hate attacks during recent months are the work of Arabs seeking to incriminate Jews.
This was the case with the arson attack against a mosque in Tuba el-Zangaria, which resulted in widespread condemnations by elected officials, only to learn it was a set up by Arabs wishing to discredit Jews for their racist actions.
In this latest incident, two Bedouin residents of Beit Zarzir was taken into custody, allegedly after painting their hate message on the wall of a local school. Migdal HaEmek region police report the two suspects at 15-years-old and they have been released to the custody of their parents with restrictions set in place.
In addition to the graffiti, there was significant damage to school property as the building was ransacked.
