Dayan Boaron Calls On Followers To Join Peleg Protests

HaGaon HaRav Dayan Tzvi Boaron Shlita, a prominent dayan in the Sephardi community, has instructed his followers to join in Peleg protests as well as criticizing Shas leadership for failing to do so.

“Unfortunately, the Sephardi representation in the government and Knesset does not raise a finger to correct the takonos, namely the gezeiros against yeshivos” the rav added.

Rabbi Boaron continues with his criticism of Shas for failing to assist Sephardi talmidim who have been jailed in protests, calling upon them to join with the Peleg protestors.

  1. It’s alll about politics. I bet this rav wants to replace Shas and he think he will be the savior of the Jewish people. Desire for money & more power unfortunately exists even amongst big rabbis as well.

  2. It is disgusting how someone who hides behind a screen name has the gall to criticize and denigrate a Talmid Chacham! Come out into the light and let the world know who you are and then open your foul mouth.

  3. #1 – What article did you read? There is no where in this article quoting claims that talmidim that registered were jailed.

#2 – this is your opinion. However, even if it may be in fact true that does not give free reign to post such statements. What are your intentions? Are you trying to protect Sefardim from joining the protests or are you merely looking to call a spade a spade? The prior is debatable, but the later is uncalled for, especially since your are making accusations based purely on assumptions without any facts to back up your claims.

    Shev V’Al Taaseh.

  4. #1&2 Keep burying your heads in the sand and continue living in fantasy land.

FYI, almost every day Yeshiva boys who step foot in recruitment offices for exemptions are arrested and drafted to the army or jailed for refusing, esp. Sefardim, baalei tshvua, children from single parents, and regular yeshiva boys. Dozens and dozens of yeshiva boys – NOT from Rav Auerbach’s yeshiva – are momentarily languishing in jail for months!!! unlike boys from Rav Auerbach’s yeshiva who are arrested at protests and released within days. Don’t expect to hear any of this from Fakestream media.

Instead of slandering Gedolei Yisroel and accusing them of ch”v lying, why don’t you contact people from Bnei Brak, for instance, and find out for yourselves. You guys will finally wake up to reality and bury yourselves for shame for maligning Gedolei Yisroel and sinning to Hashem. Be careful not to approach any chaperim (“chareidi” catchers who get paid for catching Yeshiva boys who’ve not enlisted) or relatives of chaperim because you won’t get a true response.

  5. So its ok to steal the time of thousands of people? Ywn, please stop referring to any rav who sponsors this behavior as “hagaon harav”. If you are such a gaon, you know you can never repay this. This behavior is despicable and any “rav hagaon” who calls for it should be arrested.

  6. Arye, drinking the same coolade.
What does it feel like to be brain washed.
    So sad
A true gadol is Harav Schtainman who has distant him self from the crazies.

  7. These whiny comments about “stealing time,” etc., that are emanating from people who I’m sure report every cent to their income to Uncle Sam is becoming rather tedious. Can we move on to something else? All the kvetching, name calling and foot stamping that occur here are not going to change the situation in Eretz Yisroel in the least.
