  1. YWN, you guys are disgusting. Big Rabbaonim have endorsed these protests. Just because there are others who argue doesn’t give us the right to put down the other side. “Elu v’elu divrei elokim chaim”. We might disagree on what s the best way to not get drafted into the army, but there are many more things that we agree on. We all agree that you can’t eat pork, we all agree that you need to keep shabbos, etc.
    STOP INCITING MACHLOKES!

  2. One of the main arguments against joining the army is that sitting and learning can protect the country more than physical force. Once you show that you are willing to stop learning to practice senseless violence, destroying property and beating people up, you might as well join the army and learn how to control your violence!

  3. to # 2
no normal rav endorsed this behaviour
show it to me in writing
these rabonnim are manipulated by a few reshaim
mark my words that if this continues someone will get killed cv or seriously hurt either by a bus driver who wont take this garbage anymore
    or someone stuck in traffic

their is no rav that has any worth that will condone this kind of savage jungle behaviour
and if this is what the yeshivos produce
    close them all down

  4. Searching345: You got it wrong. Big Rabbonim might have called for a protest meeting but have not permitted all the violence these Biryonim are displaying and committing.

  5. @searching344

Can you name me 1 rabbi who endorses bochrim and children to kick a lady walking in the street ?!?
Yes, they said protest. But rabbis never said to use violence.

  6. WE ARE ALL STANDING WITH #2!!!
there is no excuse for taking sides in such a thing!! i personally wouldn’t send my son to be part of a riot, but that make the others more right or wrong. the fact is that at a certain point the brisker rav also endorsed riots. we expect YWN to apologize for this mistake. (and nobody is fooled by the headline “IMAGE SUBMITTED TO…” you shouldn’t have published it!)

  7. Unbeleivable! exactly what we all always say about antisemite’s. They’ll look at tens of thousands of jews and report the 5 who don’t obey the rabbonim. How can you ever again have tay’nos on antisemites when a website called yeshiva is doing the exact same thing? A protest endorsed by many of the Gedolei Hador with the participation of many many thousands of bnei Torah where the speakers said many many times not to engage in any type of violent behavior whatsoever and a few kids (who obviously have nothing to do with the bnei Torah who follow Rav Aurbach for they were disobeying his repeated pleas from minutes before) are violent and you make that the story!!! Truely unbeleivable! גדולה שנאת עמי הארץ את תלמידי חכמים!!!
(Rav Aurbach said publicized many times over the last few months that violence is forbidden and only to protest the way every group (including all frum factions and definitely non-frum factions) protest when they feel their physical or spiritual welfare is at stake.)

  8. you are sooo naiive.
do you realise that there are quotas, and those quotas are going up in numbers each year.
if the peleg does not fight that, then these boys in the picture of ‘רצים לעוה”ב’ will son find themselves dragged into the army to ‘fill the quotas’
    stop your naivity!!!

  9. Either way one feels on the issue, there’s no need to post pictures that open up a can of “worms”- the inevitable lashon horah and mudslinging that follows. I don’t envy the one who submitted the picture, nor the poster. At best, it’s avak lashon horah.
