It costs $100 for a 5 year “membership.” They must check your background, and then they’ll schedule an interview (don’t worry, it’s on the light side) about a month after you apply. Go to http://www.globalentry.gov to apply.

It saves me at least 1/2 hour of waiting on each return flight from Israel. If you travel to/from Israel (or any country) at least once yearly, it seems to be worthwhile for $20 / year!
