Williamsburg: Two Suspects Arrested Trying To Break Into Aron HaKodesh At Vishnitz Shul

Thanks to the Williamsburg Shomrim (WSPU) Patrol, two suspects were arrested early Tuesday morning, while trying to break into the Aron Hakodesh (Holy Ark) in the Vishnitzer Shul in Williamsburg.

At approximately 3:30AM, WSPU received a call about two suspicious males in the area of Division Ave & Clymer Street. The first shomrim member arrived at the scene and observed the suspects walking into the Vishnitzer Shul (Yeshiva Ahavas Yisroel), located at 6 Lee Ave. He then called for backup and asked the incoming members to surround the shul and call for the police. Upon the arrival of the NYPD, two officers entered the shul and found the two suspects who were wearing ski masks and equipped with tools trying to break open the Aron Hakodesh safe.
