  1. He would always greet me so warmly whenever I returned to Yeshiva to visit He gave me so much so in just a hashkafas hachaim. He affected so so many of us talmidim in ways we may not have appreciated when we were in Yeshiva but his legacy will carry on for many years to come. BDE as our hearts are pained on the loss of our very dear Rebbe.

  2. I had the honor and privilege of being his talmid for several years, learning from his shiur and growing from his as a person. His care and compassion knew no bounds, and as an individual, he lived with the truest of intentions. He always lived his life with a tremendous weight on his shoulder, trying to help out the students whom he saw were struggling. Now that his time has come, he has passed that burden onto us. I hope his memory will be a blessing to all who knew him and will continue to be a blessing to all who learn about him in the coming years.

  3. He taught and inspired thousands of talmidim, myself amongst them. The best way to sum up what he meant and who he was, in my opinion: Many bachurim will clash with their Menahel over their years in Mesivta, and in many cases, carry those clashes with them for many years thereafter. No YFR alumni have ever met, down to the most troubled, has ever had a negative word to say about R’ Brafman zt”l. All of us understood that any criticism was coming from a place of pure, unbridled love for each of us. Yehi Zichro Baruch
