Two Soldiers Mistaken For Arabs Beaten By Jews In Pardes Chana Park

Two soldiers who were mistaken for Arabs in a public park in Pardes Chana on Friday night were beaten by Jews, Reshet Bet correspondent Carmela Menashe reports. According to the soldiers, shouts of “You are Arabs” were directed at them as they were beaten with a blunt object.

The soldiers were not seriously injured, treated at Hillel Yafeh Hospital in Hadera. A complaint was filed with police in Rosh Ha’ayin and it was transferred for investigation to the Hadera station.

Police summoned the father of one of the soldiers to the hospital. He said “combatants are out on leave and attacked by criminals because they look like Arabs. It’s a disgrace” one of the fathers stated, adding “They tried to lynch him and it could have ended in death”.
