PHOTOS: Jerusalem’s New Museum At Ammunition Hill Offers A Special Deal For Chol Hamoed Sukkos

The new Ammunition Hill Museum is open and presents a new revamped look at the events of the June 1967 Six Day War.

“I was 7 years old when the Six-Day War broke out. We lived at the Allenby camp and I remember how as a child we helped the adults fill sandbags and of course everyone’s tears when Jerusalem was liberated “- said Nir Barkat, the paratrooper who became mayor of Jerusalem on a tour with the directors of the city.

The innovative museum is the first to present the combined contribution of all the divisions and units that took part in the campaign for Jerusalem in 1967.

The museum is full of personal, individual, national and international stories that create a fascinating and exciting historical and human fabric. For example, you can see the original flag raised from the wall, with the moving manuscript on it. During Chol Hamoed Sukkos, entrance to the Ammunition Hill site, the museum and various activities at a public price of only NIS shekels. Visit the website for reservations and details.
