  1. Who edits this website. This video is an outrageous hillel hashem. Stupid insensitive American bocherim that can not speak Hebrew. This is propoganda worthy ofDer Strumer. these clips are also seen by non jews If frum Yidden think we belong behind cages what is the world to think

  2. The headline here should be the following:

WATCH THIS! Men In Yerushalayim With Nothing Better To Do On Chol Hamoed Entertain Themselves By Poking Fun At Precious Yiddishe Kinderlach And Treating Them Like Monkeys In A Zoo

These children are left to play in the street, and are having some harmless fun in a plastic bottle recycling cage. Even if you disagree and think there is some harm in this, or that their parents should be preventing them from playing in this way, there is absolutely no excuse for these men cheapening their own sense of ahavas yisroel and tzelem elokim by derogating them in this way, even if it was just a joke.

The adults here are acting more immaturely than the kids. Children a supposed to spend their time playing. But do the people taking the video really have nothing better to do?

  3. Sad that these little kids have no other place to play other than in the garbage/recycling bin….would be nice if parents at least took them to the playground

  4. I’m not sure it was smart to post this.
I’m not looking to criticize and understand the parents of these children can’t afford the Chol Hamo’ed amusement park outing or concert.
Still this looks like an accident waiting to happen, and can ch”v turn into one of those articles you print under sad headlines with pictures of Hatzalah vans.

  5. Great comic relief! The kids on my block do something like that almost every day, when they come home from cheder. Not Yerushalayim. Besides climbing in the pens, they pull all the bottles out, and line them up across the whole width of the street and then simultaneously drive their little kiddie bikes through the bottle piles, and create a flying bottle event. It is apparently great fun and they actually eventually put back most of the bottles. Luckily we are not a main street! I imagine it must feel to them identical to going to some like kid Gymboree where you jump in a pen with lots of little ballies.

  6. Another of my comments has been awaitng moderation for eons. Mods, what is going on? I know I posted it in the middle of the night, but it has now been awaiting moderation for the entire day.

  7. the tragic american bachurim who filmed this, probably on their iphones, should be ashamed of themselves! they refer to jewish children as “monkeys in the zoo”!!!???!!! Shame on you!

  8. Yerushalmis aren’t rich, and many are poor. Some very poor. Americans, acquainted to expensive vacations and Chol Hamoed outings, don’t understand Yerushalmi children who entertain themselves in various cost-free methods.
