Galei Tzahal Moving To Yerushalayim

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman toured the Museum of Underground Prisoners in central Jerusalem, the new home of Galei Tzahal (Army Radio).

They were also accompanied by Defense Ministry Director-General Udi Adam, and Jerusalem Councilman Moshe Leon. During their time together, the Mayor’s proposal was accepted and work plans were presented that the full-length broadcasts will begin within three years.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat noted that “the place of the main media is in the capital of Israel, and the once desolate area has been reborn and transformed into a vibrant and vibrant city with Bezalel built in the Russian Compound, the youth center we established, the Musrarah School of Arts, the Maale cinema school, and so, Galei Tzahal in our center.

It is important to note that the passage will not harm the museum but will lead to an upgrade and empowerment of it and its values and heritage. I thank the Defense Minister who put Jerusalem on top of his agenda and is cooperating with us in moving more and more units of the IDF to Jerusalem to strengthen the capital of Israel ”
