In a Last-Minute Attempt to Sway the Jewish Vote, the Romney Campaign Sends High-Profile Republicans to Speak to Ami Magazine

Some very high level Republicans are reaching out to the Jewish community to vote Republican in the upcoming elections through Ami Magazine. Former challengers for the Republican nomination for President, Rick Santorum and Herman Cain, spoke to Ami Magazine about the upcoming election and their own future plans. Santorum said that the choice in the election is “a choice between helping families, and continuing to enforce a radical ideology that has proven ineffective over the past four years.” He predicted that America will move to voting for family-oriented, religious candidates over the coming years and described his work on strengthening families through his foundation.

Herman Cain explained the work he is doing on tax reform, as well as describing his positions on Israel and the Arab conflict and how he sees the Obama administration’s behavior in the region.

Tevi Troy and Jeff Ballabon, two Orthodox Jewish political activists talked to Ami about the Jewish vote and Obama. Troy spoke to Ami about the influence of pop culture on the presidency and the fact that there has been no president as immersed in pop culture as Obama.

Third-party candidate Jill Stein talked to Ami about her political philosophy and her arrest outside the second presidential debate. “I reject the scare tactics of the establishment that try to make people afraid to vote for us,” she said.
