There is zero excuse for entering anyones home without their knowledge and permission…and worse yet taking what is not yours. The only exception would be the proper authorities looking for looters or to correct safety issues.
I know of people who are refusing to leave their homes that are without power because of the fear of having their homes looted.
There has been looting in the Rockaways and in Coney Island. I am concerned that the reports of looting have been down played by the media and the police. Law and order needs to be preserved and enforced…there can be little justification for looting..the only exception (if you are open minded) would be people taking only food if they are that desperate and hungry. A pharmacy in Coney Island was looted…those looters should have been shot…where were the police then?
