  1. The woman was a 60 year old resident of Tzur Hadassah. She was travelling right by Beitar when her car got hit with rocks and bottles.

May she have a refuah sheleimah bekarov!!

  2. Let’s negociate a truce and offer the rock throwers some guns or rpg’s if they agree to stop throwing rocks for a few weeks, we can get egypt to broker the deal and I bet they would even place troops in the area to guarantee peace. Ask peres or clinton to be the go between so they can get a noble peace price. The whole world will be thrilled

  3. #2, I think that your cynicism is out of place here when a Jewish lady is seriously injured. I can understand your frustration at the political scene but instead let us just be mispallel for her refuah shlaima.

  4. There are tons of terrorist attacks on cars and buses next to Beitar Illit, usually by residents of Husan.

Tens of people have been injured – often with lifelong scars, physically and mentally – there.

The same happened at the entrance to Kiryat Sefer numerous times – several people died at the entrance there (near the shopping center) and many others were wounded.

This is one reason why I decided to move out of Israel instead of moving to a place like Beitar Illit, to find affordable housing.

Running away from E”Y is not something to be proud of. Hashem has shown time after time that America is not the “safe” haven for those lacking in bitachon. I am proud to live in Beitar Illit where my children are receiving chinuch in E”Y that cannot be compared anywhere else in the world. E”Y is not for everyone, but it’s pathetic that someone can be proud they left simply because they were scared.
