IDF Chief: Ground Forces Remain Ready

The commander stressed that if need be, ground forces remain ready and if instructed to enter into Gaza, the military is prepared for the mission.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz reports on Thursday morning that the major objectives set for Operation Pillar of Defense were achieved during the week of warfare.

Speaking to the media following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the military commander added “we halted the operation but it is too early to know what will occur in the months down the road. There will be challenges ahead that we will have to face.”

Ganz on Thursday morning gave the order to gradually release reservists called up for emergency service, to permit them to return to their civilian lives.

  1. There is only one way for Israel to be free of its enemies. Listen to your Sages. Remember your promise. Arvut.

If you don’t keep your promise you can’t be a light to the nations of the world. And being the smallest nation, those others that live in darkness will snuff you out if you don’t shine your light into them.

If you Israelis can’t make peace among yourselves then how can you expect your enemies to make peace with you? The heritage of your nation is pure spirituality. Yours is a nation unlike any other on Earth. Even the U.S., while trying to be like you, is incapable of being so without your help.

Remember your promise. Unite. And shine your light to the world. You will kill us all if you don’t

Peace to all of you and to all of yours.
