While Rav Ovadiah is one of my perosnal heros, I cannot rule out medical problems assciated with aging as the cause of his illness.
Why hasn’t anybody said it was the will of HaShem as they do for everything else?

Rav Amnon Yitzhak has called all the rabonim of shas names. Even though he doesn’t know any halacha he considers himself the successor of Rav Ovadya. He has no Rav and listens to no Gadol byisrael.

Someone please enlighten me. I am not a fan of Rav Amnon Yitzchak but what horrible things has he said about Chacham Ovadia? (This article says that he claims that Chacham Ovadia won’t meet with him – Is that so bad?)

Shas published a paper publicly insulting him by inferring that he has no Yiras Shomayim and that he is a “makdiach tavshilo brabim” and then they claim that he is “insulting” Chacham Ovadia! Am I missing something?

easy to put blame on those who are different opinions than Rav Ovadia, but blaming others is not a very positive approach to life and certainly not the party I would want to vote for.

I have a different idea. It wasn’t Rav Amnon Yitzchak, not Rav Chaim Amsalem, not the draft.

It was just a plain medical problem just like thousands of other old people suffer from small strokes all around the world every day.

I guess I’m a kofer now, according to Shas.
