Guilty Plea Expected In Federal Reserve Plot

A guilty plea is expected next week in the 2012 plot to bomb the Federal Reserve in New York City.

Online court records show Quazi Ahsan Nafis will admit to planning the failed attack when he appears in Brooklyn Federal Court next Thursday.

Nafis was arrested in October and originally pleaded not guilty.

He allegedly told an informant he wanted to wage jihad.

Nafis faces a life sentence for allegedly trying to detonate what he thought was a 1,000-pound bomb by using his cell phone as a trigger.

The bomb was a fake, supplied by an undercover agent.
