HaGaon HaRav Avraham Salim Shlita visited Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita in the Gadol Hador’s home on Wednesday evening, 10 Adar 5773. The rav wanted to inquire into R’ Ovadia’s well being. R’ Salim was among those who visited Rav Ovadia when he was hospitalized for a minor stroke close to two months ago.

Rav Salim, Rosh Yeshivat Maor Torah, is the son of Chacham Natan Salim ZT”L, among the prominent rabbonim of Porat Yosef and one of Rav Ovadia’s rabbonim as a youth.

Rav Salim gave Chacham Ovadia a bracha, they he should continue leading the generation until the arrival of Moshiach.
