From a purely political and military point of view this attack makes no sense at all. America is bleeding from the war in Afghanistan, and there is NO public support for more war.

Obama is being led by Hashem into this foolish confrontation with Russia, Syria’s close ally and arms supplier.

Iran is getting ready to move, and who can predict what Egypt will do, given the chaos there.

It all reminds me of the manner in which World War I started, without anyone really wanting to start it. Event overtook event, and suddenly, everyone was involved in total war.

Perhaps, this is the beginning of the era of Gog Umagog–the final war before Moshiach.

Let us strengthen our Torah and Gemilus chasodim, as the Talmud advises us, to survive the gehinnom that may soon enguld the world, H”YRM.

We are all going to need the tefilos. No coincidence this is happening right before Yom Hadin. If Israel, does a Pre-emptive strike, the anti-Semitism around the whole world will be un-leashed. The Goyim hate us already, as you all can see, anything we do, we get world condemnation. If we attack in the defense, I’d be very afraid. No joke, Damascus WILL be destroyed. It’s in Yeshaya. All this is happening because all Hashem wants is for us to turn to Him and we have too.
