Obamination has never missed a chance to help his buddies in Muslim Brotherhood and AlQeda.

Assad, who is closely allied with Hizbollah and more importantly, with Iran, is perceived of us a more serious problem since if Assad wins, it will mean the Iranians will be in Syria with enough strength to threaten Israel, Lebanon and Turkey.

Of course Obama knows that some of the rebels are Al Qaieda and that is why he has been so hesitant to act. However, a red line has been crossed and the International community must hold Assad accountable. The message that America’s red lines are real must be heard loud and clear by countries like Syria and especially Iran, even if it might benefit Islamic extremistst.

There is no easy answers and no easy plan of action. However the kvetchers and complainers are not either providing any plan of there own, they are only highlighting the obvious flaws in the current options available.

A president must act, he doesn’t have the luxury of doing nothing like the doomsayers in the peanut gallery. Teddy Roosevelt summed it up nicely in his famous “The Man in the Arena” speech. It should be required reading today.
