My question is, why didn’t people have gas masks before now? Waiting to get one in an emergency or rushed situation is not the smartest thing to do. There were plenty of other opportunities to secure masks for your family.

Your Purim spiel is really funny….do you really think these ehrliche yidden should worry about mechitzohs, tzinus and negiah if there is a potential gas attack? Also, the Chareidi understand that priority for distribution should go the elderly, the sick and the families of those who serve in the IDF and defense forces as compared to those who reject any form of national service.
