To No. 6

thank you for the comic relief at an otherwise stressful time for most yidden in EY and even chutz l'aretz given that the yomim noraim are upon us. Yes, I can just see the visuals of the lines of elderly, children and infirm respectfully moving aside so that those bochurim who refuse to serve in the IDF and attack soldiers who walk in the streets of meah sheaarim show up for their gas masks asserting their priority. I'll remember that scenario when planning the Purim spiel for next Adar (b'yh we should all be zocheh to be around next purim).

There is really no excuse for anyone who waited until now to be upset. The campaign to give out these masks has been going on since 2010 (i.e. for THREE YEARS), and the comment about sizes makes no sense either. They currently have a baby/infant mask for newborns until age 7, which if necessary can be used until age 12, a child version for ages 7 -- 14 (which can be used for a bit longer if necessary as well), and an adult version. These age ranges are large enough that you really don't need to worry about changing to a different size in the vast majority of cases.

I also didn't get mine until this week -- but I know it is my fault for not getting around to it, not the government's fault! (We got ours on Monday, and actually had absolutely no problem with lines or anything)

#5. That's not a fair statement. Some Gedolim in Europe told their Talmidim that the Torah will protect them there and we saw what happened. We are not supposed to rely on Nissim. We must also act responsibly.

Also, to say that anyone living in Eretz Yisroel doesn't have emunah and bittachon is flat out wrong.

My question is, why didn't people have gas masks before now? Waiting to get one in an emergency or rushed situation is not the smartest thing to do. There were plenty of other opportunities to secure masks for your family.

I believe there should be an age limit on those who post comments. Born after 1975....or use a coloring book instead.

The photo shows the inevitable that achdus is the glue of a nation under distress. Our tefillos on Rosh Hashanah must include 'Achenu Bais Yisroel' who are living in Eretz Yisroel.

Reply to No. 2

Your Purim spiel is really funny....do you really think these ehrliche yidden should worry about mechitzohs, tzinus and negiah if there is a potential gas attack? Also, the Chareidi understand that priority for distribution should go the elderly, the sick and the families of those who serve in the IDF and defense forces as compared to those who reject any form of national service.
