The Chasidim far outnumber the Litvaks worldwide, in Israel and in America as a result of their far higher birth rate over the last 35 years.

And, too as a result, Orthodoxy is fast approaching being a majority of halachic Jews with its high birth rate and baal teshuva rate.

While this numbers are great and ken yirbu, this seems like a “regular” week for groups like Satmar or Lubavitch.

I was in Crown Heights last year for a Shabbos and there were ka’h 40 Chassanim being called for their ufruf that week!!!!!

THE TRUTH
the source of the info is from a Mazel Tov poster that’s being printed withew in the Chassudus Weekly
but beacuse of the Yumim Tovim the poster wasn’t printed so they printed now for “5″ weeks and on the poster there was “26″ Boys (not 36) & “19″ Girls (not 26)
