In June 2011, director Ben Sheni and photographer Uriel Sinai received rare permission to photograph and video Hagon Chacham Ovadia Yosef ZATZAL in his apartment and shul on Kablan Street. The result is a fascinating four- minute video collage of one of our Gedolei Hador.

It was aired on israeli TV at the time, as well as published on the Internet – including YWN.

We now republish this video, as Eretz Yisroel prepares to mourn the Petira of Maran Hagon Chacham Ovadia Yosef ZAZAL, who was Niftar earlier today.
