hackA British man accused of hacking into U.S. government computer networks including the Army and NASA is charged in a new indictment with infiltrating the Federal Reserve’s computers.

Lauri Love, of Stradishall, England, is charged with computer hacking and aggravated identity theft. He initially was arrested in Great Britain in October. The new court papers were unsealed Thursday in Manhattan.

Prosecutors say the 28-year-old man broke into the Federal Reserve network between October 2012 and February 2013. Authorities say he then posted on a website the names, email addresses and phone numbers of users of the Federal Reserve computer system.

His lawyer did not immediately respond to a comment request.

The charges carry a potential for up to 12 years in prison.

Love previously was charged in federal court in Newark, N.J.
