Maran HaRav Sheinman Interrupts Limudim for Tehillim

shtMaran HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita on Tuesday, 9 Adar II, Election Day in Beit Shemesh, interrupted his scheduled limud to recite Tehillim.

The gadol hador recently appeared at a Beit Shemesh pre-election rally citing the importance of the tzibur getting out and voting for the chareidi candidate, Rabbi Moshe Abutbul.

It is reported that an avreich from Beit Shemesh sitting shiva in Bnei Brak asked Rav Shteinman if he should vote. The rav replied that he should head to Beit Shemesh and vote.

  1. There has to be more than meets the eye in this election. There is probably lots of grants, cash gifts, zoning allowances & more that the fight is for

  2. The Gadol Hador is a shining example of how a Jew should act in times of danger ( Etz Rason )- Tefillah to Hashem!!!! May we be granted many more years of his Tefillot.

  3. I don’t believe the story about R’ Shteinman instructing the avreich to leave shiva to vote. Unless this story is verified by a reliable source, I will believe that there is some mistake in the communication.

  4. “I think it’s terrible how the gedolei hador are getting involved in politics, what happened?” Or said another way: HaShem is here, HaShem is there, HaShem is ALMOST everywhere.

Where DON’T we need the guidance of our leaders? What word, action, or thought is not supposed to express the Ratzon HaShem?
